Our services include the starting of young horses for all disiplines, float training, handling young stock and re-education of problem horses
Using techniques that will make sure your horse remains unafraid and comfortable, John Payne will also provide techniques for managing horses that will load but are nervous going on, or are nervous once they’re on the float.
Some horses can be made comfortable with the float in less than thirty minutes while others might need more than one lesson or an extended lesson.

It's not often in life you meet someone who has so much drive, passion and dedication to a sport. John Mark possesses these qualities and constantly strives for perfection in his handling, riding and training of performance horses. I have had several horses started by John, I say 'started' because they dont come home with broken spirits but are able to be taken out to a competition, tied up and worked in a soft round frame with an elastic back.
John is constantly aiming to improve and spends copious amounts of time reading, going to lessons, watching overseas trainers and thinking about the correctness in their horses ways of going.
He is a thinking horseman... who doesn't think he knows it all.
